It’s what being Practically Family is all about. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we’re now able to schedule road tests for AMA members – a significant milestone for aspiring motorists on their journey to get a driver’s licence.
Members who schedule road tests through AMA will be assigned an independent driver examiner who is licensed and monitored by Alberta Transportation – and who is not connected with our Association. This independence helps ensure the integrity of the test.

We’ve also made sure that scheduling a road test through AMA is convenient and affordable. Members will receive competitive pricing that is consistent across all AMA centres, plus you can schedule your test online, in any centre or call us, if it’s easier.
We want to ensure you receive a quality experience. We’ll survey everyone that schedules and completes a road test with us as part of our promise to create and maintain the highest-quality member experience possible.
