In early March, the Government of Alberta announced that starting in April, they would no longer mail out vehicle registration renewal notices and reminders to Albertans.
AMA wanted to find a way to help take care of the renewal process and was granted exclusive access to offer an Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal service to AMA members – the first automated system of its kind in Canada. We’re very pleased to announce that we can now offer Vehicle Registration Auto-Renew to members so you’ll have one less thing to worry about.
This safe, secure, convenient renewal system will allow you to register your vehicle once and forget about it so your vehicle registration renewal will automatically be processed year after year and you will never have to remember what month your plates expire.
Signing up is simple through our one-time sign-up. It’s free, and any information AMA collects online about your transaction is safe and secure. You can opt out of this service at any time.
How it works is:
- Sign up for Automatic Vehicle Registration Renewal through My Online Account.
- You’ll receive an email from us six weeks prior to your renewal date.
- You will receive notification that your credit card has been charged.
- You’ll receive your registration and sticker in the mail.
